Feature for “Request Newbie Code” button
After players have "Liked" our Facebook fan page and clicked on the Facebook app, they will need to login using their PlayID (they can create a free one at http://ro2.playpark.net/) and PlayID password to use the Asgardian Achievement App:
Once logged into the Asgardian Achievement App, players may click on the “Request Newbie Code” button:
Players will then get to see the respective Serial Number and Security Code of the RO2 OBT Newbie Code received. Players may click on the “Redeem Now!” button, if the status shown in this UI is stated as Available.
Once players click on the “Redeem Now!” button, their respective Serial Number and Security Code will filled in automatically. Players just need to fill in the given CAPTCHA Code, and click the “Redeem” button.
After successful redemption of the RO2 Newbie Code, players can proceed with character creation/character selection, and then enter the game with their character.
After logging in, players are to note the bottom right corner of the in-game UI, where there is a blinking Temporary Box Storage Icon. In order to redeem and use the gift items, players need to click on the icon as shown in image above. The Temporary Bag UI will then appear.
If the gift icon does not appear on the bottom right corner of in-game UI, kindly click on the "Menu" button at bottom left corner (as shown in the image below). A small UI will pop up. Players need to right-click on the Temporary Box Storage. The temporary bag UI will then appear.
This is the Temporary Box UI where player will be able to find their gifts. The image above shows the RO2 Newbie Package. Players can click on “Receive” for each item and it will be delivered into the players’ character inventory.

For players who have redeemed the Newbie Code, they can click on the “Request Newbie Code” button again and the system will show players their redemption log with the date and time of their redemption.
Terms and Conditions:
- Every player is allowed to redeem the RO2 Newbie Code only once.
- This card and its containing value are non-transferable to cash.
- Lost or damaged cards are non-replaceable.
- This card can only be used to play Ragnarok Online 2.
- This card will expire on 31st March 2013, 2359hrs (+8 GMT).
